Dr. Fowler will come to your school or district and lead an educational book study for your faculty and/or administrators.  She will provide handouts and discussion guides for the research-based text and facilitate a minimum of 5 book study discussions in a face-to-face environment.  Some book study titles include:

In the Ready, Set, Think!  Coaching Process, Dr. Fowler

• Presents professional development activity to teachers

• Co-teaches a lesson with interested teachers

• Observes the teacher(s) in the classroom

• Reflects on the lesson with the teacher in a one-on-one supportive environment

• Coaches the teacher to make changes

• Reflects on the change in teaching practice in a one-on-one meeting

This type of professional learning is helpful for new teachers as well as for teachers who are teaching a new grade level or subject area or for any teachers wishing to improve their teaching practice.
